Falls and loss of balance can be scary — but they don’t have to be inevitable. At our office at the Legacy at Clover Blossom, our Slip Trainer gives you a safe and effective way to practice balance reactions in a controlled environment.

What is the slip trainer?
Our Slip Trainer uses a secure harness and sliding platform to gently mimic real-life loss of balance. As you stand on the platform, small controlled perturbations simulate a slip, helping your nervous system learn how to react quickly and confidently. This is especially helpful for people who feel unsteady or fearful of falling.
Why is it helpful?
Balance reactions naturally decline with age — and that increases fall risk.
With guided practice on the Slip Trainer, your body relearns how to step and catch yourself safely.
